The 81st Watson Alumni Banquet was held Saturday night in the Watson Community Building. We had about 40 folks there who enjoyed a good supper(some local gals cooked it), some good bingo games, and a fun night all around. The same officers were reelected(something about a 4 year term?) We would like to thank Leslie Case and Becky Mortimore for the WHS rug mugs, Scott Holmes for the Watson School artwork, Judy Clark for the doily that was our grand prize for the bingo games, and all who cooked food, and all those who brought desserts. We had a regular dessert bar! We would like to continue our banquet for as long as we can, so if you can help, we would appreciate it.
The Watson Quilters met Thursday night with Donna Whelan, Becky Mortimore, Tammy Oakes, Holly Holmes, Teresa & Jim Hickok, Linda Viets,  Anita Armstrong, Kathy Sloop, Frances Nahkunst,  and Kay Gibson attending.  We each worked on our  own things.
Visitors last week of Kay and Tom Gibson were Alice and Jim Singleton, Chatom, AL. and Wendell Singleton, Hobson, AL. Alice is the only sibling Tom has left out of 13 children.
