Emily and Tony Sly of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Veda Mae Sly. Veda was born May 22, 2018, weighing 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and measuring 19 1/4 inches long. Besides her parents, Veda is welcomed by brother, Hudson, age 7, and sister, Nola, age 1 1/2.
Grandparents are Mark and Debbie Sly of Fairfax, Missouri, and Kathi Hughes Post and the late Richard Hughes of Hastings, Nebraska. Great-grandparents are H.A. Sly and the late Betty Lou Sly of Fairfax, Sarah Ryan and the late Jerry Ryan of Tarkio, Noel and Emma Hughes of Superior, Nebraska, and the late Elmer and Amelia Finnigs­mier of Hastings.
