Tarkio and Fairfax children learned about the science of music and sonic sounds on Thursday, June 7, 2018. The kids used musical instruments to listen to the loudness or softness of sounds and used different techniques to learn about how sound waves travel. The students were fascinated by what they learned and of course had fun making lots of noise! Around 35 children attended the Tarkio events. Eleven kids attended the Fairfax events.
