The 24th annual Tarkio Rodeo was a huge success. Though hot, the weather was perfect for an outdoor event and many participated, whether riding bucking broncos and bulls, wrestling steers, roping calves, or racing horses around barrels.

Inside the arena there was a rodeo going on, but these two boys had their own rodeo event just outside the fence. Yeehaw Ride ‘em Cowboy.

 

The weather was beautiful for the Tarkio Rodeo and with the sun positioned perfectly in the background for this photo, it made for a picturesque setting.

Billy Griffin from Holden, Missouri, makes his 24th appearence at the 24th Annual Tarkio Rodeo. This was Billy’s last ride and he went out in style with the win.
