Isabella Kroeger enjoys the fireworks show with her great-grandmother, Elaine Schwindt.
On Thursday, June 28, Pleasant View Nursing home hosted a Fourth of July party for their residents and friends and family. Over 60 visitors joined the residents and staff for food, entertainment and fireworks.
Guests were also treated to musical entertainment provided by Andy Campbell, a country music singer who had people singing and dancing along to his music in the dining hall. Pleasant View would like to thank the Rock Port Volunteer Fire Department for shooting off the fireworks and putting on a great show. Special thanks also goes the local fireworks stands that donated the fireworks. “It was a great turnout and we are so appreciative that the community donated and came to the event. It made a very special night for the residents,” Director of Nursing Heath Haynes said.
