Every five years, the Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments works with community stakeholders in the five-county area to develop a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategies (CEDS) document. The CEDS process engages public and private stakeholders in the Regional Council’s economic development region (Atchison, Gentry, Holt, Nodaway and Worth counties) to create an economic road map for the area. The CEDS identifies strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges along with strategic planning for regional resilience.
Public input is an essential part of the CEDS process. The Regional Council staff has created an online survey to help gather input from stakeholders in the region. To fill out the short survey, please visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DNF7NX5. The survey will be available through Friday, August 10, 2018.
