Tammy Grossman of Tarkio is inspiring women of Atchison County and beyond with shirts she is selling to raise funds for the Atchison County, Missouri, Salvation Army. The shirts, which read Goals Make The Girl and Inhale Confidence Exhale Doubt started out as a personal mantra for Tammy, who was preparing for an upcoming 5K. She then had the idea to use her shirt as a fundraiser for a local organization which helps in a variety of ways and decided on The Salvation Army. This program is not there to only assist in emergency situations, it also helps out people in need of everyday assistance.
For the gals wearing the shirts, these “goals” referred to can be overcoming many issues in life, such as physical illness, abuse, mental health, or maybe it’s a goal like Tammy’s that they are determined to reach. These shirts make a big statement while helping those in need at the same time.

If shirts need to be mailed, there will be an additional charge. Colors are sapphire blue, safety pink, lime green, navy blue, and dark gray. Printing on the shirts is being provided by Hippo’s Happy Car Auto Wash of Rock Port, Missouri, and done at the Avalanche in Tarkio, Missouri.
Tammy and crew will be walking in the Fairfax Fair parade in Fairfax, Missouri, Saturday, August 11, and will have a booth at the fair, taking orders for shirts and offering raffles for shirts.
