Northwest Missouri Industries, Inc. of Rock Port, Missouri, came to Mound City on Monday, August 13, to help the Mound City Development Corporation pick grapes in the corporation’s vineyard. Nearly 20 pickers gathered 1,260 pounds of Frontenac grapes. Northwest Missouri Industries, Inc., is a sheltered workshop providing employment opportunities for disabled workers in Atchison and Holt counties.
