Lois Jean Yandell, age 76, of Versailles, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was born June 22, 1942, in Nodaway County, Missouri, a daughter of the late John M. and Elsie F. (Hardy) Harbin.
She enjoyed sewing and making quilts. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jean was a member of the Family Worship Center in Versailles.
She is survived by her children, Doyle Yandell and significant other Barbara Yandell of North Charleston, South Carolina, Karen Friday and significant other Ken Smith of Lincoln, Nebraska, Traci Heinrichs and husband Jimmy of Agency, Missouri, and Heather Russell of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Kevin Gladman and wife Amber, Cody Gladman and wife Erica, Nikita Gladman, McKenna Baker, Brian Kirk and wife Ashley, Tamara Kirk, Devin Kirk and wife Lindsay, Scott Kirk and wife Victoria, MaKayla Snider and husband Josh, Corde Honea, Sierra McKimmy and husband Jacob, Tanaya Russell and Dakota Yandell-Russell; several great-grandchildren; her sister, Georgia Robinson of Versailles, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 12 siblings and a grandson, Gregory Gladman.
