Sheila Griffin will be the guest speaker at the ninth annual Ladies Fall Luncheon, hosted by the Rock Port Baptist Church.

The Rock Port Baptist Church will host their ninth annual Ladies Fall Luncheon Sunday, October 14, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. The location will be the Stanton’s White Barn at 21792 Outer Road Rock Port.

All women from the Atchison County area are invited to attend. There is no cost for this event, but please sign up if you would like to attend. A phone message can be left at the home of Pastor Richard Boettner and his wife Bing (660-582-6400) or you can send an email using the email tab from rockportbaptistchurch.com. Please RSVP by October 7 if childcare is needed.

The guest speaker for this event will be Sheila Griffin. Sheila is married to Rock Port native Regan Griffin and they have a two-year-old daughter, Wynne. The family moved back to the Rock Port area last spring. They are active in the Rock Port Baptist Church fellowship.

Sheila spent the last nine years living and working in Boulder, Colorado, as a National Director of Leadership Development with the campus ministry of Cru, an interdenominational Christian Missions Organization. Prior to moving to Boulder, she worked with Cru in Springfield, Missouri, at Missouri State University. Sheila is originally from Bolivar, Missouri, and calls it a privilege to be back in her home state and in a community as warm and friendly as Rock Port. When she’s not chasing around a toddler, you can find her working on home decorating projects.
