The Rock Port Junior High Football Team went undefeated for the 2018 football season.  Members include, from left to right: front row – Ryan Paris, Reed Miller, Clint Steffen, Phillip Herron, Caleb Lucas, Brecken Kelly, Cade Makings, and Dakota Evans; back row – Head Coach Stephen Gaines, Aidan Burke, Brentyn Herron, Jarrett Hunter, Micah Makings, Trulin Pankau, and Assistant Coach Alec Hendrickson.

The JH Rock Port Blue Jay Football team went  undefeated for the 2018 season. They ended the season 4-0.

“These boys worked super hard. I really appreciated all the time, effort and commitment put in to this season by the boys and their parents,” said coach Gaines.

September 4, DeKalb was rained…(A lot of rain).. out.

September 10, the Rock Port and East Atchison junior high teams played each other at Tarkio. Rock Port’s junior high team brought home a win with the final score being 40-16.

September 17, the Mound City Panthers came to Blue Jay Stadium.  The JH Jays did not disappoint. Rock Port won the game. The final score was 46-6.

September 24, at Stewartsville the JH Jays were tied up at the half 22-22 but when the game ended the Jays won 52-34.

October 1, at Rock Port the JH Jays clinched their undefeated season against NorthWest Nodaway. The NWN Muskets might have scored first, but the Jays responded with a 30-16 win.
