The Tarkio Chamber of Commerce is once again sponsoring a scarecrow contest for Tarkio citizens and businesses. Get creative and most importantly, have fun with it! First, second, and third place recognitions will be given to the best scarecrows and their pictures will run in the newspaper. Entry deadline is October 15.  All entrants  need to register at the Tarkio Avalanche.
