Schoolhouse Rock will host a Pink Out Night at this Friday’s East Atchison Wolves’ varsity football game against Platte Valley in Tarkio. There will be a silent auction of many items to include, but not limited to: a Wolves’ tie blanket, Karla’s rolls, Kristi’s cake, Clement’s meatballs, cheesy potatoes, etc., and Mary Beth Bredensteiner’s cheesecake. Come show your support for the Wolves by attending the game and donate to a cause that has touched so many lives.

Schoolhouse Rock’s ultimate goal is to help those in Atchison County who are fighting cancer, through donations for medical bills, food, or transportation, and working with our local hospital to get treatments closer to home in the near future.

The goal for the pink outs this fall was to reach $20,000 to give toward that goal of treatments closer to home. With donations, bake sale purchases, and corporate sponsors, along with money previously raised by Schoolhouse Rock, the group has reached more than $18,000. By donating, you make a huge, positive impact for those local citizens who are battling cancer. Come on out to Pink Out Night on Friday and help Schoolhouse Rock reach its $20,000 goal.
