Syrena (Schlup) Coolidge of Hastings, Iowa, passed away October 7, 2018, in Noel, Missouri. She was born April 17, 1947, to Agnes (Cooper) and Herbert Rosenbohm in Hamburg, Iowa.

Syrena attended school in Rock Port, Missouri, where she later raised her and Larry’s  children. Syrena worked for the State of Iowa at the Glenwood Resource Center until she retired in 2008. Syrena enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, and traveling.

Syrena was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gene Rosenbohm; husband, Larry Schlup; husband, Richard Coolidge; daughter, Pamela Schlup; and nephew, Allen Rosenbohm, Jr.  She is survived by her children: Jeff and Lynn Schlup of Alaska, Julia Lidgett, Glenwood, Iowa, and Matthew Schlup, Hastings, Iowa; grandchildren: Heidi (Chambers) Jones, Tyler Chambers, Lindsey York, Amberh Pruett, Cory Schlup, Dominic James Schlup, and Katelan Jacobs; and great-grandchildren: Madison, Baily, Kyson, London, Tyson, Jayden, and Grayson.

A celebration of life will be held October 20, 2018, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Watson Community Building, Watson, Missouri.
