Fairfax Xi Lambda Beta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi has their largest fundraiser well underway with selling fresh Christmas greenery. The orders will be taken until October 29 with deliveries the week of Thanksgiving.     

The group has had this project for many years, using the proceeds for community philanthropies. Some of their most recent donations have gone to Fairfax City Park for playground equipment of $1,500; donation to Backpack Buddies; Tarkio College Campaign; Fairfax Fair Baby Show and assistance with Queen Contest; and they will adopt a Christmas family again this year. Their donations are county-wide.

The 20 members of this sisterhood enjoy meeting the third Monday of each month with a program to stay in tune to their motto of “Life, Learning and Friendship.” They look forward to their Christmas dinner and gift exchange at the Dusty Trail restaurant on December 17.  This women’s organization has been in existence since 1971 in Fairfax.
