Platte Valley traveled to Dave Palmerio Stadium in Tarkio to take on East Atchison in the last game of the regular season. EA won the toss and elected to receive. The Wolves took control of the game early and never looked back. They rolled past Platte Valley 46-0. EA’s first scoring drive came in the first quarter with 9:21 on the clock when Jake McEnaney took it 49 yards for 6 and Briacin Bywater’s two point conversion was good.
Gage McAdams struck next with a 50 catch and run, Bywater’s PAT was good, making the score 16-0.
McEnaney started the second quarter with a 15 yard run and the PAT was good. Gus Hurst got in on the action with a 22 yard pass reception and the PAT was good. Closing out the first half Briacin Bywater had a four yard run and Hurst’s PAT was good ending the first half 40-0.
Following a halftime performance by the elementary cheerleaders and the Tarkio Band, the Wolves would end the game with a pass from McEnaney to McAdams bringing the final score to 46-0.
EA will be at home on Friday night in the first round of District football action against NorthWest Nodaway The game starts at 7 p.m.
