Doyne Swan of Fairfax, Missouri, will turn 95 on November 21, 2018. Doyne has been a lifelong resident of the Fairfax area. Following his service in the Army Air Corps during World War II, Doyne married Virginia Carter. They were parents of a son, Stan (Karen), of Colleyville, Texas, and a daughter, the late Susan (Rick) Douglas, Maryville, Missouri. They were blessed with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Doyne is a retired postmaster and has been active in many church and community activities throughout his adult life.
