Honey Tree Nursery School students in Tarkio gave the teacher instructions on “How to cook a turkey” and “How to make pumpkin pie.”

“How to cook a turkey”

Elizabeth Lundy – “In a very, very hot oven, put a turkey in a pan in there. Cook for 14 minutes, hours. Take out of the stove. Put it on a plate on the table. We eat it up.”

Portia Ingram – “Put the turkey in the pan. Put it in a super duper hot oven. Put it on the stove. Put it on the table. Enjoy!”

Sage Sundermann – “You cook a turkey with an oven.”

Tiberius Baruth – “Take a knife. Run and skip with the turkey. Cook it in a really hot oven. I always sit at the table and we enjoy a turkey.”

“How to make pumpkin pie”

Elizabeth Lundy – “Get a pumpkin. Cut it out. Put in a pan. Cook it in the oven for 8 minutes on 4 degrees. Take it out of the oven and put it on the stove. Get it on the table and eat it with a fork.”

Portia Ingram – “Put pumpkins in it. Put it in the super hot oven. Watch it cook. Put it on the stove. Put it on the table. Eat it all gone”.

Sage Sundermann – “You cook it with an oven, too.”

Tiberius Baruth – “Take a pumpkin like Pete’s Big Pumpkin. Put it on a plate. Eat it with a fork.”
