Carroll and Carolyn (Gage) Jones of Tarkio, Missouri, will celebrate 60 years of marriage on December 21, 2018. They were married on that day in 1958 in Burlington Junction, Missouri, at the United Methodist Church. They are both graduates of the Burlington Junction High School, Carroll in 1955 and Carolyn in 1958. Carroll enlisted into the United States Air Force. After his discharge from the Air Force, Carroll began a 58-year career in farming in Atchison County. Carolyn attended Gard Business University in St. Joseph, Missouri, and she has been a homemaker ever since their marriage.

Carroll and Carolyn have three children, Curtis Jones and Craig Jones of Tarkio and Cheryl and John Brown of Fairfax. They have three grandchildren, Lyndsey (Brad) Jensen of Fort Myers, Florida, and Trevor Brown and Tyler Brown of Fairfax. They also have two great-grandchildren, Karter and Riley Jensen.
