As 2018 draws to a close, we are thrilled to celebrate our 69th year of providing quality healthcare to our community. What a great year it has been thanks to our tremendous donors, staff, patients, and community support.

In August of 2018, Community Hospital- Fairfax achieved ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification, reflecting the organization’s long-term commitment to quality, transparency, and customer satisfaction.

With the addition of orthopedic surgeon, Steven Kitchen, M.D., Community Hospital-Fairfax has been able to increase the number of orthopedic appointments and plans to offer a wide variety of orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements.

Community Hospital-Fairfax’ Senior Life Solutions program therapist Sarah Watkins, MS, LPC was honored as the 2017 Program Therapist of the Year. In addition, Senior Life Solutions welcomed therapist Chelsea Miller, PLPC, to expand the number of patients the Senior Life Solutions Program serves.

Grow Your Own Scholarship Recipient and Fairfax native, Boo Cooper, joined our Radiology Department in October after completing her education at Clarkson College.

On November 8, Bob Jackson, Community Hospital-Fairfax Board Chairman, was honored with the Missouri Hospital Association Trustee of the Year Award at MHA’s Annual Convention.

As we look forward to 2019, the Community Healthcare Foundation and Community Hospital-Fairfax invite you to be a part of healthcare in Northwest Missouri by making a donation to the Community Healthcare Foundation. Your contribution is vital to ensuring that quality healthcare will remain in our communities for generations to come.

What will your generous gift support?

Your contribution will help us continue to meet the needs of our community by increasing accessibility and adding new services. We look forward to providing more MRI services with the purchase of a new, state-of-the-art, wide bore MRI. We continue to make advancements on our electronic medical records that make patient information safe, up to date and easily accessible. Community Hospital-Fairfax also hopes to make updates to our pharmacy that will meet future regulatory standards.

If you would like to support our commitment to our community, we humbly ask that you consider a donation. Donations to Community Hospital-Fairfax and the Community Healthcare Foundation are tax-deductible. Interested donors may send their contributions via mail to Community Hospital-Fairfax, Attn.
