Following the December 2018 business meeting, the Tarkio Fire Department elected its 2019 officers. They include: Chief – Shane Bredensteiner; 1st Assistant Chief – Duane Umbarger; 2nd Assistant Chief – Mike Shaw; President – Allen Wennihan; Vice-President – Harold Vander Plaats; Secretary/Treasurer – Curtis Evans; Board Member At Large – Keaton Shaw; and Training Officer – Jesse Bolin.
