Wilma Fredora Randall, the daughter of Emil Rudolph and Lena (Ideker) Krutz, was born on March 11, 1933, at Corning, Missouri. She attended the Corning High School till her senior year and then attended Craig High School where she graduated.
On June 24, 1951, Wilma was united in marriage to Phillip Nathan Randall at the Lutheran Church in Craig, Missouri. They made their home in the Corning area and then moved to Rock Port where they lived and farmed. In 2011, they moved to Shawnee, Kansas, due to Wilma’s health issues. During her school years, Wilma took years of voice and piano lessons, which was her passion. She thoroughly enjoyed playing the piano and organ at First Lutheran Church for 30 years or more where she played for most weddings, funerals, special occasions and weekly services.
Wilma was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Corning, prior to transferring her membership to First Lutheran Church of Rock Port.
Wilma passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2018, at their residence at Shawnee Hills Retirement Community, Shawnee, Kansas, at the age of 85.
Survivors include husband, Phillip Randall, Shawnee; two sons, Michael David (Carolyn) Randall, Olathe, Kansas, and Marcus Daniel (Jeanne) Randall, St. Charles, Missouri; one daughter, Cynthia Elaine (Tim) Macek, Shawnee; seven grandchildren, Jason (Tellena)Randall, Eudora, Kansas, Jaime (Tyler) Farnworth, Ventura, California, Laura (Joel) Ensey, Ellsworth, Kansas, Derek (Becky) Randall, Rosalia, Kansas, David (Whitney) Randall, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Elaine and Kevin Macek, both of Shawnee; 12 great-grandchildren, Ezra and Zane Ensey, Adynn, Easton and Hollis Randall, Harlee, Mason, Rylee and Jaxson Randall, Lillian and Camden Randall, and Olivia Farnworth; two nieces, Judith Ann Middleton, Kearney, Nebraska, and Melva Linville, Kansas City, Missouri; one nephew, Harold Krutz, Fairfax, Missouri; numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and their children.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Melvin Krutz, numerous brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2018, at First Lutheran Church, Rock Port, Missouri, conducted by Rev. Franz Brandenburg. Interment will be at Hunter Cemetery, Rock Port.
Open visitation begins at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, December 30, at Minter Funeral Chapel in Rock Port. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Monday, December 31, at the church. Memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church, Rock Port.
