Virginia “Ginny” McCroskey was born October 9, 1951, in Estes Park, Colorado, to Wallace “Mac” and Florence McCroskey.

She married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Edward Dodson, September 5, 1971, in Liberal, Kansas. They had one daughter, Doris Jean “DJ” Burke. Bob passed away unexpectedly on October 1, 1972, in a motorcycle accident. Her love for him never faded.

When Ginny’s health permitted, her hobbies included camping and fishing with her daughter and grandchildren, crafting, and crocheting. She also enjoyed hosting large holiday dinners for her family and friends. Ginny was also known for her large collection of angels.

Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her and she was always proud to talk about them.
