The Watson Quilters met Thursday night with Donna Whelan, Fran Phillips, Frances Nahkunst, Anita Armstrong, Linda Viets, Holly Holmes, and Kay Gibson attending. We discussed our next quilt which will be for a benefit. More news on that coming up. We will choose a pattern next week and get to work on it.

MOVIES

I lack knowledge on a lot of things, but movies, actors, actresses . . . I know nothing about. I hardly ever watch T.V. unless it is the news, or maybe “Wheel of Fortune.”

You see, when I was young, and other kids were watching movies, swooning over James Dean, I was learning the difference between black diamond watermelon seeds, yellow belly black diamond watermelon seeds, and yellow meated black diamond watermelon seeds.

So if I remain quiet when movies are the subject, you will understand. But . . . talk about watermelon seeds and I have it covered.
