The TEC Club met January 8, 2019, at Aunt Martha’s Bed and Breakfast for the first meeting of the new year. It was a beautiful day for the month of January, and it had been four weeks without a pitch game. Suzanne Southard substituted for Susan Braams. Merylan Lowrey won high, and Pam Cooper second high. I was suffering from withdrawal symptoms and won low just trying to catch up on the news. Most of it was about who was going where on vacation.

Norma Bradfield was hostess with a marvelous snack buffet for nibbling while we played. But the main event was a dessert, a recipe from her younger sister for a pie named “Out of This World,” and it was. We all wanted to know how to make it, but you’ll have to call Norma, for I didn’t get all the ingredients written down. There were plenty of laughs as usual and I hate to be a “killjoy” but I’m glad the holidays are over. Happy New Year!
