On Wednesday, January 16, 2019, around 90 sophomores and juniors from around the area took part in Tarkio College’s Career Fair. The fair presented six different career pathways and jobs involving those careers.
Each student attended a cluster based on their individuals results of the Career Inventory test though Missouri Connections, given by their school counselors. This test helps students explore occupations and develop a plan for their future careers. Professionals from around the area spoke about their career and experience.
“We hope to make this an annual event,” Kristi McEnaney, Tarkio College Chair and Steering Committee member said.
Jay Stanton, DPT,  Director of Rehabilitation at Community Hospital-Fairfax, talks to a group of students about his career during the “Health Services” cluster, where students heard from area professionals on a variety of career paths in that category. 
Johnnie Davis, iterim president of Tarkio College, welcomed students from Rock Port, Tarkio, Fairfax and West Nodaway to the college’s Career Pathway Program on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.

Business Management & Technology: Keaton Lundquist- Nutrien Ag, Rhonda Herrick- New York Life (Colflesh Financial), Kent Fisher- Fisher Insurance, Michael Richardson – Midwest Data.
