Two Atchison County wrestlers competed in the Class 1 Missouri State High School Athletic Association’s State Wrestling Championships held Friday and Saturday, February 15 and 16, 2019, at the Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Missouri. Ethan Wood of Rock Port, District Champion in the 106 pound weight class, placed 6th overall at State. Justin Stanton of Tarkio, an East Atchison wrestler who placed 4th at Districts, competed in the 113 pound weight class at State. Individual results follow:

5th Place Match – Andon Allen (Gallatin) 37-7 won by decision over Ethan Wood (Dec. 5-2)
