Due to the prediction of a snowstorm this weekend, the benefit for Jackson Holmes, sponsored by Watson Baptist Outreach, has been postponed to Saturday, March 16. The benefit will be held in the fellowship hall of the Watson Baptist Church in Watson, Missouri. The soup supper will begin at 5:00 p.m. and an auction will follow.

Jackson is the infant son of Lily and Trevor Holmes. He contracted CMV (cytomegalovirus) in utero, causing complications.

Drawings will be held for two $100 Wal-Mart gift certificates, and two quilts. You do not need to be present to win. Tickets are $1 each, 6/$5, 15/$10, or 35/$20. Another gun will be auctioned. It is a Bolt Action 22 Caliber Ruger that features a Farmer’s Edition scene. Both guns can be viewed at Do It Best in Rock Port.
