Imogene Moore, the daughter of Floyd and Sadie Grace (Clark) Mutchler, was born October 1, 1934, in Shenandoah, Iowa. She attended Shenandoah High School, graduating in 1954.
On December 19, 1954, Imogene was united in marriage to James (Jim) F. Moore at the Assembly of God Church in Tarkio, Missouri. They made their home in Tarkio and became the parents of three daughters, Deborah, Diane and Jacqueline.
Imogene worked in health care for several years at the Shenandoah Memorial Hospital and Community Hospital in Fairfax, Missouri. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Tarkio. Jim passed away in April of 1982. Imogene passed away February 23, 2019, at Tarkio Rehabilitation and Health Care at the age of 84.
Besides her parents and husband, Imogene was preceded in death by daughter, Deborah Wilcox; siblings, Wayne Mutchler and wife, Essie, Earl Mutchler and wife, Opal, Ruth Worley, Ersie Graham and husband, Lee, Alberta Carper and husband, Everett, Tully Mutchler and wife, Mable, Grace Reitz and husband, Don, and Marlene Ross and husband, Pete; and brothers-in-law, Ed Erickson and Charles Bragg. Survivors include daughters, Diane Hicks and husband, Dean, Tarkio, and Jacqueline Moore and significant other, Jim Schwarz, Glasgow, Missouri; five grandchildren, Leasa, Lindsey, Joy Anne, Jonathon and Joshua; five great-grandchildren, Layla, Tylea, Elijah, Tregn, and Thorin; two sisters, Alice Erickson, and Jane Bragg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service and interment will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2019, at Home Cemetery, Tarkio. Open visitation begins at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, February 28, at Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio, where the family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, Missouri.
