Dr. Seuss’s Cat in the Hat visited Tarkio Elementary students on Friday, March 1, 2019, including in the Kids’ Korner Preschool. Jaylee Wood and Linley Hogue were among the students super excited to see the special visitor.

Tarkio Elementary students celebrated Read Across America Day by reading in the hallways Friday, March 1. Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on March 2 – Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Since the 2nd fell on a Saturday this year, the students at Tarkio chose Friday the 1st to participate.
