Amanda Oswald of Fairfax had a booth for Matilda Jane at the Spring Vendor Showcase.
The Velma Houts Building was full of crafts, gifts and people for the first Burlap and Bows Spring Vendor Showcase on Saturday, March 9.
Megan Ingram, owner of Burlap and Bows, LCC and organizer of the event, said that around 300 patrons visited the 30 booths. There were vendors from all over the region and a large variety of booths to shop.
“We had vendors from Missouri, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska with a great variety of goods. We had great feedback from the community as well as vendors and look forward to the next events. Thanks to all the community. We couldn’t be successful with our small businesses and hobbies without their great support,” Megan said.
In addition to the booths at the show, there were also several local stores that helped with advertising or ran specials in conjunction with the show. There were many community members who helped make it possible, including Steve Joesting, who helped with the driveway as much as he could.
Megan is looking forwad to making the showcase a quarterly event for more people to enjoy.
