Several members of the Piecemakers Quilt Guild braved the cold temperatures and met March 6 at Community Hospital-Fairfax. We had a rather informal meeting and discussed our plans for hosting The Crazy Quilters in May.

Several had some samples of gifts they made for that meeting. We discussed games to play, decorations and the menu.

Diana won the fat quarters.

Roger Martin had the program for the evening. He talked to us about the 1/4 cent ACDC tax that will be voted on and some of the ways that money is used in our county.

For Show and Tell Susan had a cuddle quilt made with flannel, Diana had a Dresden plate quilt and Jean had a Double Star quilt.

We are hoping for better weather so more can get to the meeting in April. This winter has given us “lots of good sewing days.”
