After two long days at District CDE contest, there is a Fairfax FFA CDE team advancing to State. Contest teams, choir members, talent performer, and State FFA Degree recipients are:

Dairy Foods placed 8th and will advance to state in Columbia April 24-26. Team members include: Bennett Bowling, Treyton Bowling, Shelbey Morris, and Wyatt Burke.

Students who will be receiving their State Degree at state include Max Hopkins and Tyler Brown.

Students who placed first in Area 1 Proficiencies and will compete at state include Max Hopkins – Specialty Animal, Jaycee Graves – Beef Production Ownerships, and Jesse Graves – Ag Processing

Students attending for State Choir include Gena Mitchell, Jaelynn Hill, and Max Hopkins.

McKenzie Frohn will perform Friday at the career show as a State talent member.

FFA Advisor Jeremy Palmer said, “Hayley Palmer placed 3rd at Area and advanced on to District in Division 1 Prepared Public speaking, but fell short at District. Floriculture, Agronomy, Meats, Farm Management, FFA Know-ledge, and Creed Speaking fell short, but I am very proud of them all.”
