Six residents from Pleasant View Nursing Home in Rock Port, Missouri, traveled to St. Joseph, Missouri, for The Golden Age Games at Missouri Western State University. Activity Directors from 21 care facilities brought games and prizes for the college students to run and interact with the over 200 residents who came to participate. During this time there was also a flyswatter volleyball tournament to compete against other facilities for a chance to take home the traveling trophy. Team Pleasant View did a great job with keeping the score tied for quite some time, losing by only two points at the end. It was a busy, fun-filled day and everyone was ready to head back home after lunch.
