The Atchison County Commission met Tuesday, April 9, 2019. Present were: Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood, South District Commissioner Richard Burke, and North District Commissioner Jim Quimby. Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission, was in Jefferson City working on wind legislation.

The final April 2019 election results were presented as certified by Atchison County Clerk Taylor and will be attached to the record. Official results can be viewed at www.atcomoelection.org

The commission reviewed March sales tax reports.

Presiding Commissioner Livengood reported on the 2019 legislative conference held in Jefferson City.

The commissioners went out to inspect flood damage and concerns.

The Commission met Tuesday, April 16, 2019. Present were: Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood, South District Commissioner Richard Burke, North District Commissioner Jim Quimby, and Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission.

Road & Bridger Supervisor Adam Meyer was in to report that he had spent Friday with representatives from SEMA and FEMA inspecting flood damaged roads.

The TIF annual meeting was held March 5, 2019. Ginny Vernon and Kristi McEnaney were both appointed to renew their terms for four years. Director Monica Bailey requested that the commission make the formal appointments. The commissioners voted to appoint Ginny Vernon and Kristi McEnaney to serve a renewed four year term.

Bids to mow the south bank of the courthouse lawn were to be opened at 10:00 a.m., but no bids were submitted.
