Beth Davis, left, Darius Skillen, middle, and Kelcie Gaines, right, attended the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Springfield, Missouri.

Kelcie Gaines, Beth Davis, and Darius Skillen attended the FBLA State Leadership Conference April 14-16, in Springfield, Missouri. Kelcie qualified for state by winning first place in the Business Communication Event at districts in February.

Kelcie and Beth Davis also participated in the Community Service Project in which they raised over $500 for Atchison County C.A.R.E. by hosting a dodgeball tournament and babysitting. The attendees listened to the keynote speaker, Joe Fingerhut, attended breakout sessions on leadership, toured the Glass College of Business on the Missouri State campus, and participated in a college/career fair.

Other students who qualified for state but were unable to attend were Hallee Bradley and RyAnne Herron.
