The Brownville Historical Society Steering Committee of the annual Golf Classic invites you to “save” August 24, 2019, as the date for the B.H.S. Golf Classic at the Auburn Country Club. Steering Committee members include Nick Andrew, Darrell Kruse, Elaine Knapp, Sharon Hessler, Terry Vice, Rick Janssen and Bob Chitwood.

The committee encourages individuals and teams to watch for mailings and registration sponsorship forms in the mail or at the Auburn Country Club and businesses.

Auction items, prizes and various tournament items are being solicited. Recent items include Old World Globe Bar, crystal glassware, crystal ice bucket and lid and three decanters; Pepsi putter; Taylor Made burner driver; custom 5’ slab walnut table.

Again this year costs are $50 per person; $200 per team. Players enjoy 18 holes of best ball, putting contests for men and women, golf favors, cash prizes for winners, lunch, silent auction and raffle, coffee and rolls.

This tournament will benefit the current Carson Carriage House restoration efforts in Brownville.
