The East Atchison Junior High Wolves’ Track Teams hosted Indian Relays in Tarkio on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Ten teams competed in the event. The East Atchison Lady Wolves won the event with 103 team points. Other girls’ teams and their points included: 2nd – Albany, 67; 3rd – Worth County, 64.33; 4th – Platte Valley, 58; 5th – Maysville, 52.33; 6th – North Andrew, 50; 7th – Rock Port, 26.33; 8th – Mound City, 21; 9th – South Holt/Nodaway-Holt, 16; and 10th – Northwest Nodaway, 7. The Worth County Tigers won the boys’ event with a team score of 93. Maysville’s Bella Redman broke the record for Triple Jump (32’.25” set in 2004 by Mound City’s Schoonover) with a jump of 33’.
