The Tarkio Rotary Club, with the help of students and community members, collected 184 pairs of shoes and $250 in monetary donations to donate to Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls®. Rotary District 6040’s annual shoe caravan drove through North Missouri on Thursday, April 25, to pick up the donations collected by its 13 Rotary Clubs in Kansas City and surrounding counties. Tarkio’s donations were picked up at U.S. Bank and joined the other shoes, which will all be delivered to vulnerable children.
