Rock Port’s 4×400 meter relay team qualified for state track with a second place finish. Relay members are Makenna Farmer, Riley Vogler, Rachel Vogler and Marisa Carder.

Alivia Baucom (RP) qualified in two events. The first was discus where she placed second with a throw of  121’2” and then the shot put with a fourth place finish 36’2.5”.

Briacin  Gebhards-Bywater (EA) had a great start in the 110 meter high hurdles to win it in 15.81. He also placed third in the 300 meter intermediate hurdles, advancing to state.

Joey Herron (RP) clocked an 11.90 second 100 meter to place fourth and advance on to state.

Kaely Kirwan (EA) cleared 8’9” to place fourth and advance to state.

Gage McAdams (EA) went 1, 2, 3 in his events. First place was in the pole vault with a new school record of 15’3”. This passes his previous record by 2.75″. Gage also placed second in the high jump with a 5’10” jump, and third in the javelin with a throw of 145’2”.

Dalton Stevens (RP) had a throw of 141’8” to win the discus.

The Class 1, Sectional 4 Track Meet was held in Lathrop, Missouri, Saturday, May 11, 2019.

The St. Joseph Christian girls’ team won the meet with 82 points.
