Rock Port High School seniors were honored at a Baccalaureate service Sunday, May 5, 2019, at the Grace Church in Rock Port. Members of the Class of 2019 include: Gavin Abbott, McKenna Barnhart, Abby Bradley, Hallee Bradley, Ashley Christian, Zach Clauson, Trejan Criger, Ashley Cue, Domonic Evans, Jentry Freemyer, Aden Fritzler, Kelcie Gaines, Brett Gayler, Denzil Gutierrez, Aaron Haltman, Matthew Hance, Preston Jones, Preston Klappenbach, Katie Lininger, Brock Martin, Jacie McMahon, Cynthia Minino, Emma Pankau, Dalton Stevens, Jared Thomas, Riley Vogler, Josie Watkins, Ayden Wilroy, and Ethan Wood.
Pastor Richard Boettner and Pastor Chris Shimmel began the program and then everyone sang the opening hymn, “Worthy of Worship.” Hallee Bradley read Psalm 27:1-5,13,14.
Chris Gebhards gave the message, “What’s Your Streak with God?”. Ashley Christian read 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Josie Watkins performed
“Thankful.” Riley Vogler recited Colossians 3:1-4, 12-14. Shawn Minter gave the message, “Treasures in Earthen Vessels.”
The congregation sang “Step by Step.” The closing prayer was given by Pastor Donna Clark Fuller and the recessional was provided by Pastor Richard Boettner. Pastor Boettner was also the event’s pianist and Bing Boettner was the worship leader.
