Michele Finley, hospice R.N., left, Candi Redel, hospice R.N. Coordinator, center, and Andy Campbell, bereavement pastor, right, representing Three Rivers Hospice were the guest speakers at the noon meeting of the Tarkio Rotary Club on May 7, 2019. They explained that hospice is available to provide quality, comfortable life for folks with a terminal illness. Patients may be on hospice for a short time or for a long time. Hospice provides medically managed pain control, support for the family during the challenge of end of life and a reduction of financial burdens on families because Medicare pays for hospice care.
