After winning their senior night game by stealing home plate to score the winning run, the East Atchison Wolves were pumped up and ready to compete in their District game Saturday, May 11. The Wolves took the field and made a hard swipe at the Mayvsille Wolverines, but ultimately fell 8-10. The loss ended the Wolves’ district play and 2019 season.

The Wolves’ effort to come back from being down five runs in the seventh inning came up short. They scored three runs in the failed comeback on a double by Josh Smith, a groundout by Aaron Schlueter, and a single by Tyler Brown. EA had 11 hits in the game.
