Street sweeping is a time-honored tradition for seniors who wish to become official members of the Fairfax R-3 Alumni Association. This year’s seniors took part in the dirty fun on Friday, May 17, 2019, sweeping away the dirt and debris on the sides of Main Street from east to west and north to south. This year’s added traffic due to the flood has made the roads extra dusty, so the students had their hands full. Pictured above are Destany Theas, Shanna Gilpin, and Zach Garrison sweeping Main Street across from the Dairy Diner. Pictured below are Shelbey Morris, Katy Baker, Tyler Brown, and Kinley Thornhill sweeping in front of Simmons Service Station.
