The Fairfax Optimist Club has chosen the theme for the 2019 Fairfax Fair.
The Fairfax R-3 fifth grade’s entry was “Barn in the USA – A Salute to Rural America.” The fifth graders and their teacher, Mrs. Melissa Graves, were awarded Dairy Diner gift certificates at the elementary awards assembly by Optimist member Marion Oswald.
The Fairfax Fair will be held Friday and Saturday, August 9 and 10.
