Don’t miss the first opportunity to see the newly renovated Liberty Theater in the Atchison County Memorial Building!

The Liberty Theatre presents Little Women the Broadway Musical.
June 14, 15, 21, 22 at 7:00 p.m. and June 16 and 23 at 2:30 p.m.
Music by Jason Howland, Lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, and Book by Allan Knee
Based on Louisa May Alcott’s life, Little Women follows the adventures of sisters, Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March. Jo is trying to sell her stories for publication, but the publishers are not interested – her friend, Professor Bhaer, tells her that she has to do better and write more from herself. Begrudgingly taking this advice, Jo weaves the story of herself and her sisters and their experience growing up in Civil War America.
The Liberty Theatre production will star Josie Watkins as Jo and Mikaela Sons as Marmee, as well as Liberty Theatre regulars Deb Martin, Erica Taylor and Clint Dougherty. The production will also feature Kylie Jo Nuckolls and new comers Jennifer Thomas and Ben Lucas. This will be a great opportunity to come together and laugh and even cry a little as we share this beautiful story. The production will be the first opportunity for the community to take in the new renovations of the Atchison County Memorial Building in Rock Port.
