was held Thursday, May 30, 2019. The banquet honors high school athletes who participated in spring sports. High School Principal Donnie Parsons welcomed everyone and senior Riley Vogler gave the invocation. Those in attendance contributed to the meal that is always loaded with favorites.

Shawn Shineman, boys’ golf coach, gave recognition to the boys on the golf team and the season they’ve had this year. He gave recognition to state qualifier Ethan Brumbraugh as well as congratulating all team members for a great season.

Coach Rachel Jenkins presented the high school girls’ track awards. She gave special awards to Riley Vogler, Captain; Alivia Baucom, MVP for field and throwing; Makenna Farmer, MVP for running; Macie Hale, Most Improved; and Aubrey Watkins, Most Promising Freshman. Several team members were also recognized for competing in the Missouri Class 1 State High School Athletic Association Track & Field Meet held at Jefferson City High School.

Boys’ track coach Thomas Herron presented track awards to all team members, with special recognition to Dalton Stevens, MVP for Field and Throwing, and Joey Herron, MVP for running. Both were state qualifiers.

Donnie Parsons presented the Male and Female Senior Athlete of the Year Awards to Dalton Stevens and Kelcie Gaines.
