Atchison County Multi- jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan update meet- ing #3 will be held June 18, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Velma Houts Building / university of Missouri Extension, 201 Hwy. 136 East, Rock Port.

The topic of discussion will be “updating the Mitigation Strategy.”

The public is invited to the final planning meet- ing to develop the update to the Atchison County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan. This public meeting is open to all public officials, residents and stakeholders in Atchison County. If you have an interest in making Atchison

County a safer place, plan to attend this informative hazard mitigation planning meeting.

During the meeting, participants will discuss key issues from the risk assessment and participate in a facilitated discussion of the mitigation strategy includ- ing continuing mitigation actions identified in the previous plan as well as identification of any new mitigation actions. In addition, action implementation details will be discussed for both continuing and new actions.
