When the staff at Bank Midwest in Rock Port, Missouri, decided they wanted to do something to help local residents who had been displaced by the 2019 flood, they quickly found even more who wanted to help as well. Together, 10 Bank Midwest Banking Centers raised money through the month of April. On top of what they were able to raise within the banking centers, Bank Midwest’s corporate office heard about the cause and contributed as well. Overall, Bank Midwest donated $3,017 and presented a check to the Atchison-Holt Disaster Relief Fund on Thursday, June 6, 2019.

Bank Midwest also organized a volunteer day on April 22 and all of the banking center managers throughout the region gathered at the First Church of God in Craig, Missouri, to help clean after the flood waters damaged the building in March.
