A passenger received minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 3:10 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2019, eight miles north of Tarkio, Missouri, on Hwy. 59.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Travis K. Rudloff, 42, Columbia, Missouri, was southbound, driving a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe. The SUV crossed the center of the roadway and travelled off the east side of Hwy. 59, struck a culvert and a road sign. It continued south through the ditch, struck the ground, and rotated counterclockwise before coming to rest on its wheels in a ditch.

The driver was not injured, but his passenger, Steven Rudloff, 71, of Jefferson City, Missouri, was transported by Atchison-Holt Ambulance to Community Hospital-Fairfax.
